What are the benefits of heat?
Heated packs are used in therapy to dilate the blood vessels inside muscles, increasing the flow of oxygen and nutrients to help heal damaged tissue.
How long do jazminbell® products stay heated?
The length of time they remain hot varies according to their size. Based on the regular pack therapeutic levels should last for 15-20 minutes and will provide warmth for up to 45 minutes.
During our research we have discovered that rice grains will stay warm 10% longer than wheat and significantly longer than hot water bottles.
Jazminbell® cold/heat packs can be stored in the freezer or placed in the freezer for 1-2 hours before cold use.
What are the benefits of cold?
Cold applications can be used for an instant cooling experience known to relieve migraines or calm minor burns, bruising or swelling.
They are a great ice pack alternative because they do not stiffen in the freezer like many ice pack products.

When should I expect my products to arrive?

Cold/heat packs are known for their therapeutic benefits but we suggest talking with your healthcare professional about how you can use them for this purpose.
Where are jazminbell® products manufactured?
All our products are designed and handmade in Canberra, Australia.
How do I use my products?
Every product comes with clear instructions for use in compliance with the national heat pack standard.
Can I wash my cold/heat pack?
We recommend washing your product by hand and NOT in the washing machine. Let the product dry flat and DO NOT let it soak in water. Avoid using any harsh chemicals in the water.
How long will my product last?
You can reuse your product for up to 5 years. The organic contents will naturally break down with use. If you notice a burning or odorous smell when heated please discontinue use and discard the product. We recommend using separate products for repeated hot or cold use.
How are jazminbell® products oil-free (unscented) and gluten-free?
The rice grains we use in our products are gluten-free. According to the national heat pack standard, oils should never be added to a cold/heat pack so we manufacture every product free from scented oils, they are unscented.
Are they safe for use?
Our designers have spent years researching and developing cold/heat packs. In 2016, we are so pleased to welcome the new national standards for microwavable cold/heat packs filled with organic materials. This standard applies to all products sold within Australia and New Zealand under the reference AS/NZS 5116:2016. All instructions are provided with each product and should be read before every use.
